Prato 2 MB - Synchro

High speed fly comb system for high production cards doffing up to 100 M/min. The Prato 2 MB is a rigid beam system with two reversibile Mater Boxes, each driving a comb stock half the working width of the card.
Steel or light alloy (MN82) stocks may be specified. Maximum running speeds depend on working width of the card and type of stock:

Working width mm	2500	3000	3500
Maximum speed with alloy stock rpm	3100	3000	3000
Maximum speed with steel stock rpm	2800	2600	2500

The Prato 2MB Syncro system (see photograph) will also run at these speeds. The patent synchro beam eliminates vibrations to the changing cyclical phases of the two comb boxes.
It also enables the system to be driven by one motor.
